Celebrating Birthdays with Family
Riding with Uncle Mike
Michael came home from college for the weekend to do a two-day horse training workshop at Ashley's ranch. We got to see him Thursday night and Alexis was delighted to get to work with the horses with him and help with chores. Lexi and Raynee rode Badger together.
Sunday Rich drove Mike's horse, J.P., down to Snow College with Michael because he's doing a horse class this semester.

Lions and Tigers and KIDS oh my!
We all had so much fun spending time at the zoo. The kids loved seeing all of the animals and it was the perfect day. The sun was shining and there weren't many other people there.
You can't see the orangutan very well in this picture but he was right up against the glass talking to the kids. Ethan loved it and was not a bit scared, Bryn was another story.
Bryn Leigh and Ethan were too busy looking at the elephants to bother with a picture. Bryn Leigh is plugging her nose cause she said the elephants were "stinky"
We took 9 kids and there were 4 adults. (Mom, Paula, Amanda, Shannon, Alexis, Tristan, Jaycee, Trent, Xander, Raynee, Ethan and Bryn Leigh. I told mom that I felt a little outnumbered by the little ones, but we all had a great time.
Congrats to the parents to be.
KC & Alyssa
are expecting a baby!
Due to arrive
Sept 28, 2010.
We can't wait to welcome this cute little bundle into our family. KC and Alyssa will be amazing parents.

Dad is home and doing well!
I'm a little late getting to this update, but here it goes anyway. Dad is home and doing well. Mom and the Dr's have him on a strict diet and the Jones boys are going to step-up as his personal trainer, by that I mean they will supervise his walks by riding their bikes with him. Let's hope this is the last trip to St Marks he has to make EVER!

Dads out of Surgery
The surgery went well. The Dr put 2 stints in. He is in the ICU and will likely spend a few days in the hospital. I will keep everyone posted on any news.
Update in Dad
The Dr just came and talked to us. While doing the heart cath Dad suffered another heart attack. They discovered that one artery was completly blocked and that part of his heart has died off. Another artery is 99%, so they were putting a stint in at that time. He is still in surgery and when I know more I will post it for everyone to stay in the loop. Keep him in your prayers

Greetings from TEXACO
Greetings from Northern Mexico, Southern Texas or as it is called by the locals TEXACO. Life here has been challenging but blessed. We are all healthy and for the most part Happy. Kids are doing well in school and enjoying the church activities: activity days for Kim, Scouts for Grant. We have been working on our back yard and have actually been enjoying the weather. Since late October it has not gotten above 80 degrees which has been great. When we get a family picture we will make sure and post it.

Winter in New England
Well, we are ~ halfway through the winter here in New England. It hasn't been as cold or ar miserable as last year. (no ice storm yet and not too may "snowdays") In the next couple of weeks the maple starts to flow. Clint and Alexis want to tap a few trees around the area and boil their own syrup. It takes ~40-60 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup. Clint won't eat any syrup. He says it is VILE. (IT IS) it should be an interesting experience.
Our trip to Ireland was great. jwphoto.smugmug.com has thousands of photos.
Gus is a little terror, but he is so cute I let him get away with everything. You should see those eyes. He knows how to play me.
I will update more later.
